    Why EyeComfort matters

It’s time to take visual comfort seriously. Screens with their artificial light are dominating our lives. Many of us spend more than six hours a day looking at screens. That’s a challenge for our eyes.

According to a global research study1, people feel that LED bulbs are more comfortable for their eyes than other bulbs. Parents rate their children’s eyesight as more important than their school performance, stress level and fitness. In many countries, over 50% of people see eye care as an important priority.

Tips for you and your family

    Spend more time outdoors
Natural light has been shown to be beneficial when it comes to improving eye comfort. Spend more time outdoors and encourage your children to do the same.
    Read or study in comfort
Philips LEDs have been designed with EyeComfort in mind. You can concentrate on reading and studying with less risk.
    Limit screen time
Cell phones, computers, tablets and television. For too many of us, our lives are dominated with screens and their artificial light. If your kids spend too much time with screens, have them rest their eyes by regularly closing them for 30 seconds.
    Practice eye yoga
There are simple eye yoga exercises, which help to improve eye comfort. You can do these at home.
